             I would like to start with saying people on windows who haven’t seen a 3D desktop definitely need to read this one.         FC6 obviously did work before also but I meant to say that at last a Linux distro is working on my PC. Ever since I had upgraded I had problems in installing NIC drivers for my in-built Ethernet port. There was no hope for it to be installed in my Ubuntu because of various reasons but even my FC5 won’t install leaving me with no choice but to back away from Linux.

           Some days back I met Harsh(Qwerty) who gave me FC6 DVD and I thought why not try it, so I emptied the whole 20 GB drive and used it to install FC6. It was just for checking basis so didn’t care for much details. When it was installed I was able to see the name of my in-built NIC in the network options which made me to enter the IP and stuff, and what you know it worked. I wanted to straighten out some things in but could not as for a month or two now my monitor has gone bad making it difficult to view the screen. I will buy a new monitor soon and begin working on Linux until then its again on hold.

         As Harsh has been trying out OpenSuse and has given me nice opinions about it, so I most probably might try it too since I will free up another 20 GB drive from my PC. I still hope Ubuntu  worked on my PC.

          Last but not the least the song by Good Charlotte from the Album Young and Hopeless, Boys and Girls, is really an awesomely true song.

Those two words are my story once I shifted from my old and boring PC to this spruced up upgraded CPU. I guess everyone read my upgrading news. Well, everything was great until I started to work on Ubuntu again. I was looking forward to using XGL and have fun with it but unfortunately my motherboard had some other plans. I have nforce drivers for my in-built ethernet card and graphics card but they are as good as useless because I simply can’t install them in my computer because of damned reasons. I have great hopes for Suse as I am gonna try that next if that doesn’t, I may have to wait till there is some proper solution to my problem other than compiling my own kernel.

Reading the topic might have arosed some eyes but here it is the next thing to for all the open suorce coders. A very (soon-to be) helpful search engine just for coders. It will list documentations and codes for all the open source coding that will be required by forever. Though it is being said by them its for all the program developers but I say that mainly only the open source community is going to be benifitted from this great search engine. Here is what they say it does:

1. to quickly find and review source code
2. find code related technical information
3. save, annotate and share your search results with others…all from within a single, easy-to-use, web application.

It is also supposed to provide the programmers with technical support supposedly from the documentation database it will index. But it also reminds me of Del.icio.us as it says we can save our search results which can be usefull for other people. So what are you waiting for, Go to Krugle and sign up for its sneak preview
