Tux BOSS is IN
I agree that the title seems to be a bit cocky but not as funny as you might think it is. I was actually trying to tell about the new Operating System released by C-DAC(stands for Centre for Developmentt of Advanced Computing). It seems to have been developed with the help of the Central Government and Tamil Nadu State Government. I found this advertisement in The New Indian Express.

Indian Puppetry Politics
I had always wondered why Sonia Gandhi never went on to take the post of Prime Minister of India. But when we saw her ruling India using Manmohan Singh as her front it was something that though not a shock but came to us as a revelation. I thought then she might be interested in the post of President of India. There were never signs of her wanting to be the President of India. Then we had Prathiba Patil made as the President of India. Sonia Gandhi has now control over the President of India and the Prime Minister of India. She can now rule both the posts without having to accept the duties that come with it. Everyone can see that though our new President and Prime Minister are brilliant people they are manipulated like puppets. India has now come to a stage where politics has reached heights of corruption and manipulation.
We had a great President before this who was not manipulated by anyone. He knew that interacting with the Public was the best thing to do when he was the President. He always knew that kids are people who should be inspired to lead a life of importance. He had inspired many individuals and most of them were kids who glad to have a President who had knowledge beyond others. Many people were proud to call him their President just because he was a man who had been well educated and was a teacher which is a rarity in Indian Politics. He gave people the hope that we might actually achieve after 60 years of Independence but the hopes shattered when he didn’t continue as the President. I had hoped we could have had a Prime Minister like him who could actually make things happen because of the amount of responsibility that comes with it. I actually do hope he does great in the field of teaching while he still teaches in Anna University here.

No $100 in India
This seems to be the plan of the Indian Government. Everyone must have heard about the $100 Laptop project, which was aimed to make cheaper laptops and make them available to children all over the world. Read more »
Court allows to express
Well this is a follow-up post to one of my older posts. I saw in newspaper last week that the ban on the movie “Da Vinci Code” was lifted by the Court. The twist in the story is that they have fined the police for postponing the screening of the movie. The court had said that the police had not followed one of the basic principlesof an democratic country which was right to express oneself. Court has given strict warning to police for not repeating such a thing again as the reasons given by police personnels were not satisfactory. The court had said if they feared violence then they should be prepared for it rather than postponing the screening of the movie.
Atleast I am happy that atlast it will be screened here I look forward to watch the movie in theatre and I believe in the court and democratic goverment of India now

Insight to Kerala Politics
I am well aware of my origins and I felt to blog this post. I am a malayalee and I am proud of that. But many people don’t know some things about Kerala. Everyone thinks that Kerala is very beautiful with its great scenic terrains and a place were there is highest literacy in India (I guess Mizoram has highest literacy rate now). But while everyone wishes that if only their state could also have high literacy rate and while people praise Kerala for the same, I say there is a downfall to that. Kerala has a negative side too. Kerala Politics according to me is the most dreaded politics you can ever witness. Though politics is a part and parcel of every state in India, somehow it has dug deep into the lives of a normal Keralite. Whenever someone leaves a house he has to check the newspaper for any strikes or bandhs which might have been announced by some political party or any trade unions. Some people might say that this is not the case, but recently my sister who had to attend her BBA exam was nearly going to miss it because of one of such bandhs. Think about the student’s mentality when he or she goes to write and exam in such a condition. Most of the political leaders are too inconsiderate. Most of the political parties use College students as their weapon. You might say that happens in all the states and maybe even in different countries, but the truth is its widespread and more gruesome in Kerala. Recently there had been great drama on one of the leaders of CPI (M) {Communist Party of India} party being thrown out and being taken in again. Though every state sees such dramas it’s too often in Kerala. Why? If that is the question that comes to your mind I say maybe that the population is too much educated or the population has no choice but to bear all the difficulties and keep quiet. Why is that? Why can’t we rise to this issue why does everyone have to bear this? I though don’t live in Kerala but whenever I go to Kerala I feel like even if I go will I be able to go around the place, with the amount of tensions and amount strikes there. But still I like my birthplace and I thought it would be nice for people to know about it. If you are a Keralite and reading this you may add to my post by commenting or criticize my post by commenting.
PS: In no way do I mean any harm to anyone but anyone reading this is hurt I apologize for it.

Yes our honourable Finance Miinister Of India, Mr. P Chidambaram disclosed the budget day before yesterday. The budget was supposed to promise us development in computer field in India but rather it left us crippled. I would like to say that it was a very nice decision to reduce cost of some computer equipments such as flash drives and DVD drives as they are very useful and also media is cheaply available in India. But what made me think it didnt benefit the public was the increase of 12% in the cost of the packaged software. Already India is on the brim to be known as the country with highest Piracy rate now with this India will surely turn to Piracy. All softwares already cost more than a personal computer in India. It is also being said impored computers(i guess he meant whole computer system) will have to pay extra taxes this means all the guys thinking of buying Alienware by importing it be ready to shell out more money. Anyways laptops prices are suppposedly going to rise which means rather than small benefits in form of removable media, Indian Techies will not be having a big benefit from this time’s Budget.
