           After I had destroyed my keyboard by spilling tea into it, I had thought to buy a new one. But as I didn’t have money at that time I thought of postponing it to a later date. Now that I had some money this month, I had planned to go and buy me a cheap Microsoft keyboard. But I needed a ride to the shop as It would not be easy for me to bring the Keyboard. So, as my Dad had holiday today, he came with me. I got myself a keyboard. The other thing in my mind was a new monitor, a LCD. But my Dad had told me that he will buy one next month. He saw a Viewsonic 17 inch LCD there and asked the guy to show it to him. He really liked the Monitor. The shop owner is my friend and told me that it is good and that it’s quite cheap too since the prices have fallen. My Dad is one those persons who once sees a thing can’t resist buying it. He is just like me technology fascinates him. And when he saw the monitor there was no question of thinking again. He told the guy to prepare the bill. He had two choices at first one was Samsung and other one was ViewSonic, he likes the widescreen on his laptop so went with Viewsonic as it was a widescreen one. I got it for around 9500 Indian Rupees. My keyboard was cheaper as I got it for 500 Indian Rupees. So all in all I have a totally new PC, and my old Compaq is now a total scrap. I might change my mouse soon which is white in colour, but then I will have to think of a new name for my PC. The old name B ‘n’ W is still good with the white mouse. Hmm… the title doesn’t refer to that I have upgraded my wordpress by paying the certain amount , it means that atlast I have upgraded my PC and I have damn happy about it. Well for me getting an upgrade for my “Living Dead”(Name of my older PC config) is a great deal and new config seems to be powerful enough. I will list my configuration here then put it in my about page.

• AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core 3600+
• ASUS M2NPV-MX
• Chipset: Northbridge: NVIDIA GeForce 6150 GPU
               Southbridge: NVIDIA nForce 430 MCP
• A new black and silver cabinet
• A new set of Creative 2.1 speakers
• 1 GB DDR2 RAM

So, now nearly whole of my computer has been upgraded except for my monitor and my keyboard not my mouse as I had bought a new one a month back. So, hows it I havent tested it much really but it seems blazing fast rendering in 3dsmax seemed easy but I will have to test it with Autodesk Maya Unlimited 8 to tell how good it really is. I am playing Path of the Neo and soon will get Need for Speed: Most Wanted. So, you can expect reviews on games here after. I haven’t really pushed it to limits I will try to encode a DVD movie to divx today and see how much time it takes. I had the upgrade done on 30th August but was too lazy to post about it. This was one of my happiest posts.

Sorry guys for going out without a formal notice but I see there is no big probs here and everything went smooth. I am back but the problem is I am stuck with my lame special classes and also I am capped(crossed my download upload limit), so its hard to come online during the day. I am a bit shaken with last months broadband bill and would not want to get thrashed for another month. I am strongly feeling to shift to Airtel. I have lots of posts at hand but may not be able to post them in coming days but will try my best to post them as soon as possible. The week was fun though i was totaly bored as none of my cousins were there at my native place. So a formal announcement I am back to bore all you guys out there. And yeah sorry I had forgot to post that I was going away.

Though the upgrade is very big to me it might be small to everyone. Anyone who has read my blog might know that my Dad was not at all in favour of upgrading my system and i tried to convince him but it neve worked but atlast I made him to get me a new hard disk. Now I have total of 120 GB space on my computer with lots of uses for it. This is a big major upgrade for me as I will be installing Linux on my 40 GB hard Disk and will learn how to be free. I am currently in discussion with my friends at thinkdigit forums on how and what on linux. So this my one of the rare personals bye.

Update: Dad just bought a new Optical mouse and it seemss to be working fine

Now my dad recently gave my mom a suggestion to put all her recipes on internet in form of a website or blog and that sparked an idea in my head why not try it. I had seen Rajis blog on cookery and i liked it quite a lot so the idea has sparked off to make a blog for cookery for my mother which will be maintained by me and if possible i will put it on a free host and also will try to buy a domain for it. My mother agrees on the idea and the blog will start the functions as soona as my exams get over (that wud be nearly by 15 march) until then i will start all te processes required. Now on personal note i have been grounded and have been told i cant use too much of computer so the i wont be updating blog regularly for some time that means till my exams get over. Anyways will update the blog if there is some major news or stuff. Last thing i m posting from a new extension for firefox named performancing(suggested by Raji) and its way cooler than flock so lets see if this post is published or not. Anyways new thought for my re entry after exams have been seeded right from now. Bye

It was a great day i went to watch the 4 th movie in the harry potter franchise with my sister but the sad part is she left for manglore today  evening and i m once agan alone with my mother and father. I always hate it. That is why i think i need a galfrnd to ward off my lonliness
