I had been waiting for this day for so long. I have atlast recieved my unlimited connection today. Its 256kbps and will cost me 900 Rs everymonth its less compared to other. This new plan will bring the proper broadband revolution which was supposed to have come months ago. Anyways better late than never.I have lots of linux downloads on hand to finish and also some bittorrent.

Yeah I wanted to say to all guys on my blogroll beware I am comming to comment on your blogs everyday. Spamminator is on his way.

I havent blogged for three days now. So I thought I will give the reasons. Firstly I hate my connection so when Dataone introduced there new Unlimited plan I ran to get it and applied for plan change soon I will be on unlimited 256kb internet. Other than this I had been resolving problems in and about Ubuntu 5.10. It was running too slow so i was advised by Mehul to switch to XCFE window manager which was light on resources and it helped a lot.

Now after that I had completed downloading Fedora Core 5 so went on to install it on my PC that is when I forgot to give any instructions in GRUB boot loader. So mehul helped me figure all that out. It was tough (it was easy actually i made it tough) and took lot of my time.I am really now-a-days too bored to even think of any posts yeah i have an allpeers review post lined up though i forget to complete it so u might see it soon.

Sorry guys for going out without a formal notice but I see there is no big probs here and everything went smooth. I am back but the problem is I am stuck with my lame special classes and also I am capped(crossed my download upload limit), so its hard to come online during the day. I am a bit shaken with last months broadband bill and would not want to get thrashed for another month. I am strongly feeling to shift to Airtel. I have lots of posts at hand but may not be able to post them in coming days but will try my best to post them as soon as possible. The week was fun though i was totaly bored as none of my cousins were there at my native place. So a formal announcement I am back to bore all you guys out there. And yeah sorry I had forgot to post that I was going away.

Okay I dont necessarily blog only Tech stuff sometime personal stuff is okay. So by the topic really I m gonna talk about something related to firefox but let me tell you something else also. Lastly I have been seeing that maximum of my crowd is from the topic i posted about rapidshare. Another one thing i noticed my blog has been getting dorect hits from I dont know where also some one searched Karthik Chronicles on net too. This makes me think do I have so many people coming and reading which gives me direct hit if they do read it everyday why dont they comment everyday i dunno why but also who has searched for Karthik Chronicles 2 times in past three months is someone thinking of buying a domain by that name?? I just dont know. Now lets go back to the topic.

Confessions of a Firefox user
I am very sure how came to use firefox browser. Actually if I m right Firefox was my entering to my Geek Life though i was a geek but only half with only bookish(that also not very much) knowledge. I had been reading about Firefox browser from Digit magazine and I saw many people using it by the look of it. I thought why Firefox and why not Internet Explorer. Though I always felt that IE was not the thing ,it just didnt give me what i wanted it to give me. Then when I came to chennai this year (i was transforming thats for sure; to a Geek) I asked my Dad to get me BSNL Broadband(yes I was specific I dunno why). Then when I got it i was totally unaware about intertnet and the want of the hour i thought why not i use Firefox rather than IE so thought of giving it a try digged into one of my copies of Digits magazine and found a CD with Firefox Installer, I installed it and fired it. But then waited for nearly 30-35 seconds for it to startup but after that it changed my way of browsing changed and everything became different. Though the first forum i joined was a GTA forum but in real terms it will be digit forums which I joined to become a full geek. I loaded the site and created an ID which I thought would be a nice one (Kato). Then on I became Kato realising the true power of computer and later true power of Internet. My story will go on but the confessions are of a Firefox user and not of a Internet or Computer Geek. Firefox changed lot of my thinking I installed some themes and checked out the top plugins to install(was not sure what they do but installed them). Later understood the real power of those extensions(yeah they were called extensions I came to know about that later). It was totaly Awesome. I learnt how to use the browser to its maximum. Meantime I made some friends who just increased my knowledge base(Firends:QwertyManiac a.k.a Harsh,The Incredible a.k.a Anindiya). Now I was completely a Firefox Fanboy. I loved following it blindly I just followed firefox. It was the one which has started my interest in linux(yes! as soon as I install a new hard disk I will also install linux maybe fedora core 4). I am still a faithful guy still faithful to the fox and I still belive its very cunning. But now i feel like i m being pulled to a darker side which I will reveal in one of my upcoming posts. For now this was the tale of a true Firefox fanboy.
Yeah last thing I got to say is that do expect a comprehensive Review from me on a piece of software I wont be revealing now but expect it soon…….

My connection has been crashing frequently i guess it has given me headache and urged to make a category for it anyways i got my half yearlys form monday and if that was not enough our  course at the arena has been put to halt as our batch is due to submit our  assignments for two semesters , so i have ended up with lots and lots of work in limited time. I even have to submit my assignment by coming friday that means i need to make a brochure,pamphlet,visiting card,letter pad,a companies logo and a CBT project and also study for my exams in this coming week.Man i dont like the sound of this i m very tensed i cant even seem to type also now my hands are shivering at least i finished my logo and visiting card. I dont even have a topic to make my CBT project i think of making it on Solar  system or Galaxies so please tell me if this is okay or can i make it on anything better. Remeber it needs to be such a topic that should have scope for making small animated stuff i mean animation like gif and flash. Aswin try to comment on such of my topic rather than commenting on my useless topics. Qwerty if u come online please comment on the topic too and also anyone is welcome to comment on the topic
