          Had been reading Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows for sometime now but still haven’t been able to finish it got only two or three days after it came actually. I should have finished it on the day I got it but unfortunately I have been sick for the whole week and haven’t even gone to college now since I am not well. I don’t have any idea why I have written this post seems like an overkill to me though. Yeah, I saw the Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix on Sunday but since I was not well, I couldn’t write about it which I will do after this. There are lots of random ideas in my mind at this moment which I suppose I will be putting up in form of posts.

I have at last shifted to a new domain and a new hosting. I bought this domain through Deep’s company Web1.in and the hosting is thanks to my admin Harsh and super admin Surya. I have been thinking about it for a long time and I thought, I should do it so here it is. It took me a hell lot of time to setup all the plugins and stuff but my admin(Harsh) was good enough to answer all my questions and queries. So he help me setup the whole blog here. My main domain karthiksn.com will be used to showcase by weird talent in web-designing as I will be designing my own page there.

I have shifted all my old posts to this place and made sure that they were deleted from the earlier place. I am waiting for the great google god to index this site then i will be a bit more happy. I will be posting here regularly so keep coming to watch.

I am a very big comic book fan, be it marvel heroes or DC guys, I always liked all those superhero comics. But when you grow up you like to read things that are better but no one can make read works of literature that is something I will read only when I am like around 50 or something. I came across a mature comic book with a weird title “Y: The Last Man”. I had read a bit of its synopsis from wikipedia and was quite a bit interested in the theme of the book. So I went ahead found the comic to read it.

The comic book’s story revolves around the character named Yorick Brown, who is the last man on earth and that is literally, this happens when one day the whole of the world is wiped out of male mammals including humans and animals. The only males to survive this apocalyptic fate are Yorick Brown and his male capuchin monkey. He has no idea why he and his monkey survived whatever that killed all the males of the world but he will find it out soon.

The story’s theme is one of the most famous male fantasies that is to be the only man on earth, but in the comic they deal with what might really happen if all the men were wiped out. It shows how many woman would be troubled and how many of them would want to become leaders and do all that they couldn’t when they were with men. It shows the chaos that would ensue with the genocide of an entire sex. It’s quite mature and not recommended for kids but adults might find it fun to read. The artwork in this comic is superb and the cover art works is one of the nest I have seen. The writer of this story is definitely a brilliant man. The story is all set to end with its 60th comic as written on wikipedia. I hope the ending of such a story be great too.

You won’t always finding me reviewing comics so this is like one of those once in a blue moon stuff.

           After I had destroyed my keyboard by spilling tea into it, I had thought to buy a new one. But as I didn’t have money at that time I thought of postponing it to a later date. Now that I had some money this month, I had planned to go and buy me a cheap Microsoft keyboard. But I needed a ride to the shop as It would not be easy for me to bring the Keyboard. So, as my Dad had holiday today, he came with me. I got myself a keyboard. The other thing in my mind was a new monitor, a LCD. But my Dad had told me that he will buy one next month. He saw a Viewsonic 17 inch LCD there and asked the guy to show it to him. He really liked the Monitor. The shop owner is my friend and told me that it is good and that it’s quite cheap too since the prices have fallen. My Dad is one those persons who once sees a thing can’t resist buying it. He is just like me technology fascinates him. And when he saw the monitor there was no question of thinking again. He told the guy to prepare the bill. He had two choices at first one was Samsung and other one was ViewSonic, he likes the widescreen on his laptop so went with Viewsonic as it was a widescreen one. I got it for around 9500 Indian Rupees. My keyboard was cheaper as I got it for 500 Indian Rupees. So all in all I have a totally new PC, and my old Compaq is now a total scrap. I might change my mouse soon which is white in colour, but then I will have to think of a new name for my PC. The old name B ‘n’ W is still good with the white mouse. So till next time when I think of anything good to post bye.

Vacations are the most interesting and yet boring thing that happen in ones life when one is in Schools and Colleges. We spend the whole year waiting for the darn vacations to start and when they do, we get bored just after the first 5 days or so(even less in my case). Half the friends go to some place ad we are left alone to do nothing for a month or so. So what do we do at such a time? Quite simple, we follow the 10 ways to kill time.

1. Visit relatives living near-by:- Visit all the relatives and family friends that live near-by to you and bore them to death with your talks. If you are not good at talking just go to their house watch T.V, eat food and then come back to your home. You can pass time like this for atleast 1 or highest 2 weeks.
2. Computers:-Play on computer, join as many forums as you can, join as many social networking sites as you can, blog 5 times a day, piss your net friends off on all the IMs by sending silly messages. You can actually try to reach the 2 GB limit of gmail too which will definitely take a long time. Read the whole wikipedia if you feel like reading anything. Re-re-re-install your windows as many times as you want. Comment on as many blogs as you can.
3. Movies:- Watch as many movies as you can at some small movie theatre as it will cost you less. Watch them even if they are some silly C-grade movies. Watch two movies a day and have fun for whole vacation.
4. Run around: You can just run around you city, whole day and go to your house only for dinner and sleeping. If you are fat, you will soon become slim and if you are slim you will soon have anaemia.
5. Dates:- If you are having lots of money then you can think about going on dates everyday, you can make it a whole day date, that way you can spend all day with someone without getting bored(other than the fact that you have to listen to all the stuff that girl will say,if you are a guy). It would be a cheaper or free idea for girls.
6. Gangs:- If you are friends with the big guys with big gangs then you can hang out with them and do all the cool stuff they do. You can help them bash someone or just plunder anything.
7. Delay:- Try to everything that you normally do by taking exactly double the time. If you brush in 10 minutes then brush for 20 minutes, if you take a bath in 15 mins take atleast 30 minutes. If you type at 60 words per minute make it 30 words per minute. Delay every damn thing and you will never know when the days passed by.
8. Go to some place:- Go to any vacation destination and have a blast rather than sitting at home or visit your native place or something.
9. Take pictures:- If you have a very good camera then get out of your house and try to take a very good picture. And if you are very bad at taking picture then it will be an advantage as you won’t be able to take a good picture in a month so you will just continue that everyday.
10. Rob:- If your country counts robbing as a legal act then rob each and every store outside till you have looted all the shops out there.
