    I have been in college for more than 4 months now and like many other college going students in India have been instructed not to carry a mobile phone with a camera into the college by our college authorities. I am one of those people who don’t care if we have a camera in our mobile but do need a good enough GPRS facility, nice resolution, JPG image support, mp3 ringtones and Java facility.  So if you want all this you just can’t take a mobile to college because any mobile with these facility ends up having a camera, at the least a VGA camera. Since I am a internet freak I had one of these kinds of phones and I ended up loosing it to the college authorities(even though we are allowed to bring cameras into college). I really have no problem with that fact that they took my mobile phone and neither do I want to write blaming them because that will be too stupid. But I wanted to point out some details for people who might find this interesting.

Nowadays mobile phones as cheap as of Rs. 2500 and above have camera. But many high end mobiles don’t have them(not that we can buy them). Camera with a mobile phone is not a luxury now but actually a necessity according to many people. People demand it since many people use mobile phones as their primary camera. The way mobile has been developing I am sure the day is not far when mobiles phone will not be made without camera. All mobiles will have camera. I guess this would happen in nearly 5-7 years in India. I guess at that time they will just simply ban mobile phones in colleges.

          Had been reading Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows for sometime now but still haven’t been able to finish it got only two or three days after it came actually. I should have finished it on the day I got it but unfortunately I have been sick for the whole week and haven’t even gone to college now since I am not well. I don’t have any idea why I have written this post seems like an overkill to me though. Yeah, I saw the Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix on Sunday but since I was not well, I couldn’t write about it which I will do after this. There are lots of random ideas in my mind at this moment which I suppose I will be putting up in form of posts.

       Just got bored  these days so I couldn’t blog about anything. Already I couldn’t blog because of my usual boredom now I need to start going to my college. It started yesterday(20/06/2007), had to listen to the speeches of all the vice principals and then the Principal. Then we were let go early which was good. Now today we will be given grand tour of the college by one of our professors. Our classes only start from tomorrow onwards and I guess we will be giving introductions for the first week. The college seems strict about ragging but our seniors should be able to find some way or the other to get their hands on us. So forgot to say where I joined, I have taken admission in Loyola College, Chennai and I took Bsc. Visual Communication. I guess these college days would be good for me, atleast I hope so.

I am yet to write review on Pirates of the Caribbean though I have already seen it and it has been nearly a week after that. I will try my best to put it up as soon as I can.

I have at last shifted to a new domain and a new hosting. I bought this domain through Deep’s company Web1.in and the hosting is thanks to my admin Harsh and super admin Surya. I have been thinking about it for a long time and I thought, I should do it so here it is. It took me a hell lot of time to setup all the plugins and stuff but my admin(Harsh) was good enough to answer all my questions and queries. So he help me setup the whole blog here. My main domain karthiksn.com will be used to showcase by weird talent in web-designing as I will be designing my own page there.

I have shifted all my old posts to this place and made sure that they were deleted from the earlier place. I am waiting for the great google god to index this site then i will be a bit more happy. I will be posting here regularly so keep coming to watch.

           After I had destroyed my keyboard by spilling tea into it, I had thought to buy a new one. But as I didn’t have money at that time I thought of postponing it to a later date. Now that I had some money this month, I had planned to go and buy me a cheap Microsoft keyboard. But I needed a ride to the shop as It would not be easy for me to bring the Keyboard. So, as my Dad had holiday today, he came with me. I got myself a keyboard. The other thing in my mind was a new monitor, a LCD. But my Dad had told me that he will buy one next month. He saw a Viewsonic 17 inch LCD there and asked the guy to show it to him. He really liked the Monitor. The shop owner is my friend and told me that it is good and that it’s quite cheap too since the prices have fallen. My Dad is one those persons who once sees a thing can’t resist buying it. He is just like me technology fascinates him. And when he saw the monitor there was no question of thinking again. He told the guy to prepare the bill. He had two choices at first one was Samsung and other one was ViewSonic, he likes the widescreen on his laptop so went with Viewsonic as it was a widescreen one. I got it for around 9500 Indian Rupees. My keyboard was cheaper as I got it for 500 Indian Rupees. So all in all I have a totally new PC, and my old Compaq is now a total scrap. I might change my mouse soon which is white in colour, but then I will have to think of a new name for my PC. The old name B ‘n’ W is still good with the white mouse. So till next time when I think of anything good to post bye.

       Recently I have been down with bond fever making myself see nearly all the bond movies that were made especially the old ones. I always liked it but now I am a fan of the Bond series, not only because of the bond girls but to be like Bond, is a hidden ambition in all the men out there which includes me too.

           I am one of those who have never read even one of the books which were written by Ian Fleming, I know he is a great writer and I am sure I will read some of the books soon but have not read any of them till now. I really love those gadgets and stuff used in the movies, making me a fan of most of these spy films.

       I have not seen the Casino Royale yet but I will see it as soon as they release the DVD.

        Till now from what I have seen my most favourite actors who played James Bond are Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan. I liked each one of them for their own different style. As I haven’t seen Daniel Craig I can’t say how good or bad he is.I guess I should stop this rant as I have a bigger post coming up.
