BitComet Scheduler Tutorial
Well I had thought of writing the whole tutorial on how to make the scheduler of BitComet work. So I installed it(I personally would never recommend it to anyone) and then went to options and scheduler. Then I saw something I had never expected to see. The scheduler was exactly like the one in utorrent with no changes. And I can even prove that since I took screenshot of both to compare. This here is BitComet’s Scheduler.
And this is Utorrent’s Scheduler.
So if you want to know how to schedule downloads on BitComet you can just take a look at the Scheduling in Utorrent post that I had done some months back the only difference would be is that the first two steps given there are changed a bit I will list that here.
1. Start your BitComet and click on the Preferences button in the Toolbar as shown below.
2. Then click on Scheduler in the preferences box as shown in the screenshot below.
Then follow the third step from the post here.

I have been using Bitcomet for years, and have NEVER been able to make the bitcomet scheduler work. I am not a noob by any means. I have read multiple requests on the web about people with bitcomet scheduler not working. I upgraded to the latest version 1. something or other, and it STILL doesnt work.

Bitcomet totally ripped off utorrent’s scheduler gui but that’s where the similarity ends coz it don’t work. Maybe it’s tied to a different time zone or something… it definitely doesn’t work within mine. I thought i’d do a google and see if anyone else had figured it out but as no one has I guess it’s back to utorrent. I was gettin sick of the lame engrish ads anyway. Thanks for the memlies.

@geekguy and @brazki
It seems the scheduler just plain sucks. I tried it out and saw it didnt work either. Its quite dumb and looses the purpose. This is the reason I still stick to utorrent.
