The topic is very simple the Jeeves,the butler from askjeeves.com has been dismissed. Okay on seriuos note Askjeeves.com a very poluar search engine before Google came into limelight will now rename itself to ask.com . Its been said that the step was taken to fight the competition the search engine has been facing. Their new site is supposed to take further step in searching. I checked the site and it seems to ask people what they want after it gives the answer. In laymans term when i search for a image then it will give me related topis images i might wanna view or it may ask to narrow my seaches for particular image. Really comprehensive but it still needs lots of work if it wants to fight google and give it a neck to neck competition. I wish Ask.com my best of luck.

Yes we are going to witness something vast and far better. Thats what I think the movie is supposedly going to be the most awesome movie. Now after Kristen spilled out the villians we now have official photo from S3 of spidey in venom’s coostume.
You see the difference is not very much but the movie is promising to be dark and deadly which is what it is supposed to be when Venom comes. But other than Venom one more villian,Sandman is also there I had read the comics and if I am to believe IGN then we will be seeing his other love interest Gwen Stacy in the new movie. But the most surprising thing is what everyone thought from the ending of the Part-2 that Harry Osborn will take his Dad’s palce as the Green Goblin is not going to happen atleast in this movie or else the ending of this movie maybe the birth of New Goblin and also the death of Gwen Stacy. Nothing as of sure yet but the supposed star cast of the 3rd movie is:

But according to the comics he brings the Venom with him from outer space(or another dimension) after a war. Obviuosly it can not be shown in the film so supposedly they might go for a different plot or else it can be that they will go for the plot of Spiderman cartoon series(the old one) in which venom comes through a space craft gone to mars. Whatever it is we are surely in for a surprise.

Reading the topic might have arosed some eyes but here it is the next thing to for all the open suorce coders. A very (soon-to be) helpful search engine just for coders. It will list documentations and codes for all the open source coding that will be required by forever. Though it is being said by them its for all the program developers but I say that mainly only the open source community is going to be benifitted from this great search engine. Here is what they say it does:
- to quickly find and review source code
- find code related technical information
- save, annotate and share your search results with others…all from within a single, easy-to-use, web application.
It is also supposed to provide the programmers with technical support supposedly from the documentation database it will index. But it also reminds me of Del.icio.us as it says we can save our search results which can be usefull for other people. So what are you waiting for, Go to Krugle and sign up for its sneak preview

Now I went to my Friends blog Teen and Chrono and found that both had used and reviwed the new Google Pages. As for me I couldnt understand what it was but later got hang of it. To start with its way better than Geocities. But as it is new more and more people are trying it out so you see that their server tends to have many problems. Really reading Chrono’s remark it was very clear that he in noway liked the service though it seemed quite different and new to me. Teen on the other hand was quite different and liked it, it seems the reactions are mixed. Geocities was too much of a headache and the What You See Is What You Get interface of google is lot better. If we now look Google has gone ahead and has many new services launched. I am actually waiting for something big from google rather than what they have put up right now. They may go ahead and give us something we always wanted. As for now all those guys who want to make their own site go to Google Pages and login with your gmail ids. Okay I dont necessarily blog only Tech stuff sometime personal stuff is okay. So by the topic really I m gonna talk about something related to firefox but let me tell you something else also. Lastly I have been seeing that maximum of my crowd is from the topic i posted about rapidshare. Another one thing i noticed my blog has been getting dorect hits from I dont know where also some one searched Karthik Chronicles on net too. This makes me think do I have so many people coming and reading which gives me direct hit if they do read it everyday why dont they comment everyday i dunno why but also who has searched for Karthik Chronicles 2 times in past three months is someone thinking of buying a domain by that name?? I just dont know. Now lets go back to the topic.
Confessions of a Firefox user
I am very sure how came to use firefox browser. Actually if I m right Firefox was my entering to my Geek Life though i was a geek but only half with only bookish(that also not very much) knowledge. I had been reading about Firefox browser from Digit magazine and I saw many people using it by the look of it. I thought why Firefox and why not Internet Explorer. Though I always felt that IE was not the thing ,it just didnt give me what i wanted it to give me. Then when I came to chennai this year (i was transforming thats for sure; to a Geek) I asked my Dad to get me BSNL Broadband(yes I was specific I dunno why). Then when I got it i was totally unaware about intertnet and the want of the hour i thought why not i use Firefox rather than IE so thought of giving it a try digged into one of my copies of Digits magazine and found a CD with Firefox Installer, I installed it and fired it. But then waited for nearly 30-35 seconds for it to startup but after that it changed my way of browsing changed and everything became different. Though the first forum i joined was a GTA forum but in real terms it will be digit forums which I joined to become a full geek. I loaded the site and created an ID which I thought would be a nice one (Kato). Then on I became Kato realising the true power of computer and later true power of Internet. My story will go on but the confessions are of a Firefox user and not of a Internet or Computer Geek. Firefox changed lot of my thinking I installed some themes and checked out the top plugins to install(was not sure what they do but installed them). Later understood the real power of those extensions(yeah they were called extensions I came to know about that later). It was totaly Awesome. I learnt how to use the browser to its maximum. Meantime I made some friends who just increased my knowledge base(Firends:QwertyManiac a.k.a Harsh,The Incredible a.k.a Anindiya). Now I was completely a Firefox Fanboy. I loved following it blindly I just followed firefox. It was the one which has started my interest in linux(yes! as soon as I install a new hard disk I will also install linux maybe fedora core 4). I am still a faithful guy still faithful to the fox and I still belive its very cunning. But now i feel like i m being pulled to a darker side which I will reveal in one of my upcoming posts. For now this was the tale of a true Firefox fanboy.
Yeah last thing I got to say is that do expect a comprehensive Review from me on a piece of software I wont be revealing now but expect it soon…….

This exactly what i have been saying after looking at many newss pieces and articles on net after looking at the following pictures:
They say that the logo above is supposed to replace the present logo pf Google
Yahoo! Now the thing is they say that Yahoo checked its new Homepage to selective users.
Now it is said that this is the homepage for all Ireland users and which is gonna be likely to be made as its homepage for all countries.
The questions are many but we have no answers first of all. All the major guys are doing a overhual of something important to them at the same time. Other thing when a company changes its logo it will do the changes which are noticiable but if u look at the google’s so-called new logo is nothing but taking out the bevel effect from the original logo.
And about the other two I just cant believe two of worlds big-wigs have taken onto change their homepages at the very same time. Though i dont sa its not plausible but they all doing it togather is too farfetched. I knew they compete in terms of the services they provide but competing in terms of changing looks just doesnt digest. But i say keep ur eyes open these changes maybe just to welcome the Web 2.0(which i hardly belive).
